Antiques and Bygones is a member of the South African Antique Dealers Association (SAADA)

Antiques and Bygones was established in 1949 and is the oldest antiques business in Kwa Zulu Natal. The business was taken over by Brigadier Clifford Howarth in the 1960's, his son Nick, the present owner has been in the business since 1972.

Antiques and Bygones have been members of the South African Antique Dealers Association since 1968 and Nick is a Past Chairman of the association

Antiques & Bygones  has a wide and varied range of stock, period furniture, from 1650 oak , Georgian mahogany, Victorian and Edwardian pieces, antique and Modern Hallmarked silver, jewellery, ceramics, glass, Eastern collectables, weapons and a selection of International and South African art.

All pieces sold are backed up by a certificate of authenticity from SAADA if required.
We exhibit annually at the SAADA antiques fair at Wanderers Club, Johannesburg, with a carefully selected range of our stock.
